About Us
The pH Innovate Group was founded in 2018 as an insurance service to support under-served customers – those who are unable to get competitive or accurate quotes via online systems or price comparison sites.
As such, Quote Detective (QD) was born as the Group’s first business to consumer brand, which is directly regulated by the FCA. It was closely followed in 2019 by QuoteTheMarket.com which specialises in niche motor products price comparison such as commercial vehicle, courier and taxi insurance.
In 2020, QD was joined by B2B technical services company, Next Venture Technologies. Using the technical expertise of co-founder Stephen Peck, this company hosts and develops an insurance trading platform for insurers.
As of 2024, The pH Innovate Group houses over 100 staff and services more than 50 customers and partners.
With the customer always in mind, the Group excels in partnering with existing management teams to give them the tools to grow while accessing strategic support and multiple sources of expertise.
Founders
pH Innovate is a fintech company operating in South Wales and was launched in 2018 by two entrepreneurs with a background in technology. Stephen is the managing director of tech investments and leads Next Venture Technologies, and David is managing director of insurance investments and leads Quote Detective.
